TAKING IT HOME: AFTER THE GATHERING
Tammy's eclectic background of skills, stories, and experiences inspires her life and informs her healing practice. After completing an MS in Public Health and BS in Natural Resources, she worked as an EMT, river ranger, environmental researcher, public policy facilitator, antique dealer, and songwriter. The common thread is a passion for helping people, communities, and our natural environment thrive in peace and wholeness.
As so often happens, a series of personal crises (and turning 50!) placed Tammy on a new spiritual journey and healing path. She is now a Biofield Tuning practitioner, Reiki Level 2, practices crystal ball reading, apprenticed in the SoulArts method, is certified in crystal shamanic healing, and continues to study shamanic techniques.
Her sound healing practice, Re-Tune To Health, specializes in Biofield Tuning both in-person and by distance. Biofield Tuning uses audible sound vibration (with specialized tuning forks) in the body's electromagnetic field to identify and release physical and emotional stressors and trauma. Tammy also incorporates chakra balancing, crystals, singing bowls, vocal toning, drums, and/or rattles in her healing work.
Since living in the four corners region many years ago, Tammy has loved the desert southwest and has great respect for Native American cultures. She was thrilled to learn of the Gathering of Healers and after attending last year was inspired to organize the Central California Circle of Healers. This year, Tammy hopes to motivate others to carry the Gathering's energy and goals back to their home communities.
Tammy and her husband now reside on California's central coast. At home, she adopted rescue donkeys, works with her outdoor medicine wheel, crafts shamanic healing art, and enjoys her grandchildren, music, and bird watching. Find her on Facebook at Biofield Tuning: Re-Tune To Health.
